ANOTHER gift!

Yup, I've got another gifty item to show you. :)
This is one that I made to sell at the Gardener's Market...

I used the same Post-It Note color as in yesterday's post, but used Thoroughly Modern DSP.  I also colored the white flower from the Pretties Kit with my Bermuda Bay marker, and used a white half pearl (also from Pretties Kit) for the center. Stamped "happy" on the tag from the stamp set "Family Phrases"....and finished everything off with Bermuda Bay grosgrain ribbon. :)

Well, what do you think?

The Small Print (All Stampin' Up)

Ink: Bermuda Bay
Paper: Thoroughly Modern DSP
Accessories: Bermuda Bay grosgrain ribbon & marker, Pretties Kit, Sticky strip, Hanging tag
Other: Acrylic photo holder, RSVP pen

MIA...and Gift

Yes, I DID fall of the face of the blogging planet for awhile there. ;-)

What am I up to??
Hmm...well, I was making a ton of stuff for the Gardener's Market.  Then, I needed to recover, lol!  Throw in a kiddo that doesn't have school anymore (wink), Father's Day celebrations, Birthdays, and this week...celebrated my 10th Wedding Anniversary! :)

Want to see a little gifty something I recently made?
You do?  Happy to oblige...

It's a little Post-it Gift with matching pen! :)  See the super-cool DSP I used?  It's called "Island Oasis" and it's in the Summer Mini catalog!  Love it! :)

Paper: Island Oasis DSP
Accessories: 5/8" white satin ribbon, sanding block

An Inside Look

...at the life of a Stampin' Up Demonstrator during Color Renovation/Last Chance Lists...

THIS is a pile of stuff extracted from my supply. These are all retiring during the Color Renovation. The picture can't even show it all...there are some hidden ink pads in there. ;-b

This is just the basics, folks.
Don't even get me started on the DSP, ribbon, brads, buttons, stamp sets, etc...

Just in case you're wondering...YES, I'm keeping it.  Though I won't be able to use it at workshops/parties, I MAKE CARDS! lol...and plan on making cards for a long time yet! :)  Just wish I could make some $$ at it, lol.

Speaking of such...have you checked out my Etsy shop yet?  Go ahead, I dare ya -- do some shopping! :)  http://www.craftincrystal.etsy.com/

Busy Little Bee

OH, you've noticed I haven't been around this week? Awww...I'm so touched! :)

I've been busy busy busy!!

I'm excited to announce that tomorrow I'll be selling at a local Gardener's Market! I've been trying to prepare (aka make lots of stuff)...and it just takes all my time! I'm not even close to how prepared I'd like to be, so we shall see how this goes, lol! Any advice? :)

So sorry about the lack of posts, I will be back again after it's all over...either excited or depressed, lol. ;-) We shall see! I'm really excited, yet nervous.

Here's a little something to keep you occupied. :)

Hydrangea Thanks

Told you I'd be back a lot this week - it's been so fun to share with you every day!! :)  This time, I have a SNEAK PEEK for you from the upcoming catalog! :)

As I made yesterday's card, I thought...I could totally use this same CAS layout and colors for that new stamp I now own!

Ready? OK. :)

Pretty, eh? ;-)  I love the CAS of it...colors aren't to bad either, lol.

If you click on it, you can see that it looks lighter & darker in spots. SO SIMPLE how I did this!!  I colored the stamp using our Elegant Eggplant and Old Olive markers, stamped, then used my trusty aquapainter to blur in areas.  That's IT!  Love it when things like that happen. ;-)

The sentiment is from the same set...and it's up on dimensionals, of course. ;-)

Well, what do you think?

It's in my Etsy shop to purchase, as well as other new ones recently added.  Go ahead, check it out! :) http://www.craftincrystal.etsy.com/

Watercolor Birthday TWIN!

Hee hee...I was having so much fun with the card you saw in yesterday's post, that I decided to make a twin for it! :)

Yup, everything's the same except for the colors. Same stamp set, same technique, same (kinda) placement, and yup...this one has dimensionals, too! ;-)

A few stems are darker than I like, but hey...I'm still in LOVE. :)  You can bet I'm making some of these to sell on my Etsy site, and at local craft fairs/markets!  Keep your eyes peeled! ;-)

Well, what do you think?  Yesterday's or today's?  Or do you just love them BOTH?! lol

The Small Print (All Stampin' Up)
Stamps: Watercolor Trio
Ink: Old Olive, Elegant Eggplant
Cardstock: Old Olive, Elegant Eggplant, Whisper White
Accessories: Lg oval punch, SU markers (Old Olive, Elegant Eggplant, Pale Plum), Dimensionals

A Watercolor Birthday

Here's a card I made awhile back...using the same stamp set I showed in yesterday's post.  A TOTALLY different look, with the same set! :)  Did I mention it's one of my faves? ;-)

A birthday card for a dear friend of mine, using Watercolor Trio:

LOVE it.  Love the colors, love the CAS layout, love the flowers - LOVE IT! ;-)

Some of the leaves are stamped, then stamped again for more variance in shading, and the flowers you see were colored with my markers.  The sentiment is punched out with our large oval punch, and of course, it and the rose red layer are popped on dimensionals. ;-)

Really not a whole lot to say about this card, other than I love it! :)

Well, what do you think?

The Small Print (All Stampin' Up)
Stamps: Watercolor Trio
Ink: Old Olive, Rose Red
Cardstock: Old Olive, Rose Red, Whisper White
Accessories: Large Oval punch, SU markers (Old Olive, Rose Red, Regal Rose, Summer Sun), Dimensionals

Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a GREAT day! :)

Engaged!!

A good friend of mine is recently engaged to be married, and I am soooo excited for her!

Of course I absolutely HAD to create a card for the occasion. :)

I wanted to use the new "Watercolor Trio" set from the Summer Mini, and also incorporate the wedding colors. All she said at this point are a brown and turquoise/teal.

FYI: I'm not thrilled at the finished product, but there are things I love about it. :)

I think what's bothering me is where the main image is situated, but I really had trouble placing it! lol

Tempting Turquoise cardstock is embossed with the BG stamp "Pretty Petals," using Chocolate Chip craft ink and clear embossing powder.  Main image is also embossed with same colors.  The {friend to friend} is from Teeny Tiny Wishes.

LOVE the embossing, love the colors, love the lucious satin ribbon! :)  In fact, here's a close-up of the embossing:

Happy Graduation!

I realize it's been slow here...so sorry...
I've got a full week of posts scheduled, come back every day to check it out! :)

It's that time of year again...time to celebrate Graduates!

Here's an oh-so-simple layout (love it!) with some texture for added "punch"! :)

I just love this one. WHY?  Because of it's bold clean lines, texture, and simple message. I love that it could be for a male or female, and could work for any type of graduation! :)

I used two "new" items on this...from the Summer Mini! :)  The Stamp is called "Happy Grad," and the texture is from the Square Lattice embossing folder.  I see a lot of CAS masculine (& feminine) cards in my future with this find! :)

Interested in purchasing it for yourself?  Head on over to my Etsy site for this and more... http://www.craftincrystal.etsy.com/

Oh, almost forgot. The main image?  Popped up on dimensionals, of course. ;-)

Well, what do you think?
