Happy Birthday, Baby!

Well, she's not exactly a baby oldest turned 6 today.  I love her more than words can say, and it's been so fun to see her change and grow so much, this last year proud of her!

What a CRAZY week this has been!  The "normal" cleaning, laundry, dinner, school, and the "extra" Centers (help out @ class), first-ever soccer practice, oh, and the EXTRA cleaning. You know, the kind you remember when guests are coming (wink).

Oh, and...a few more projects.  There has been a different kind of 'crafting' around here this week...

But first, I'll show you the invitation (my normal crafting)... we've gone with a butterfly theme this year, as you will see. ;-)

Cupcakes brought to class yesterday...

Cake for her 1st "friend" party (girls from class) for today...

A "Pin The Antennae on the Butterfly" poster...looks better IRL. ;-)

And the goody bags (crafts included)...but I'll save that for tomorrow. ;-)

Happy Birthday my beautiful, wonderful daughter!
I love you soooooooooooo much!! :-)

Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a GREAT day! :)

  1. Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday God bless you, happy birthday to you! :))))) You look like you had so much fun. With the butterfly being the sign of new life, what a good choice as your daughter moves into a new year. You're a great mom! Blessings and birthday joy - Shari

  2. What fun! I hope she had a great day - I'm sure she loved all the butterfly things you made.

  3. So fun! I am also planning on doing a butterfly theme for Camia's birthday, including a butterfly cake. Did you have a pan for yours?

  4. This all looks so fun! I REALLY like your Butterfly card, and it's simple beauty!

  5. Jen - no, I didn't have a pan. Cut a 9" cake pan in half, then make the two rounded edges meet in the middle, cut triangles out of the sides. Considering my cake fell apart while getting it out of the pan, I feel like it turned out oK! :)

  6. What a beautiful butterfly theme! Everything looks perfect Crystal! I'm sure your daughter enjoyed everything. LOVE the pin the antennae on the butterfly idea . . . cute! Happy birthing day to you!

  7. Everything looks super cute and fun. Love how clean and simple that invitation is! You definitely sound super busy, but you're handling it all like a pro! I know your daughter appreciates all your hard work! Happy Birthday to her!

  8. What a wonderful job with all of your butterfly creations! Everything is adorable!

  9. OH MY, that butterfly card is precious. CAS, perfectly sweet!

Go ahead...make my day! :)
