Baby Card...and Procrastination

Are all cardmakers like this, or is it just ME that procrastinates?

I've had the gift for oh...probably 3 weeks or so.
Yet, when do I make the card?

Same day it's needed, of course! ;-)

Here's a simple card you can make in a hurry. Though this one is for a baby girl gift, all you would have to do is change the sentiment and it could be used for almost any occasion! :-)

The butterflies all came from ONE SU Sizzix embosslit, "Beautiful Wings"'s in the Occasions mini! :-)

The "Small Wonder" sentiment is part of a FREE stamp set you can earn during Sale-A-Bration!

How did I attach them to card base?  With our mini glue dots, of course!  Love how it leaves the rest of the butterfly free, so you can lift wings upward a bit...make them look like they're really flying! :-)

Well, what do you think?

The Small Print (All Stampin' Up)

Thanks for stopping by, and have a GREAT day! :)

  1. That's definitely how I've been crafting lately - last minute! The card turned out lovely, though. I <3 butterflies - very cute!

  2. Crystal - you are not the only one. I always wait until the last minute. I had to give out my husband's Valentine card last week because I couldn't get another one made. Thankfully, he is very understanding. I love the simplicity of your card. I may try that with my club this weekend.

  3. A wonderful card! Love the simplicity and those butterflies!!! I am definitely a last minute card maker too! I can so relate!

  4. I finally made a baby card and mailed it this week -- bought the gift back in December!

  5. I love this! So clean and classy!

  6. Beautiful! I love the clean and classy feel!

  7. Thanks for the sweet comment about my rolled spiral rose card. Love your blog!

  8. what an elegant card. I am a CAS kinda' girl, so this is hitting some buttons!

  9. Beautiful! I love how the butterflies have their wings off the card.

Go ahead...make my day! :)
