Well, the occasion wasn't necessarily elegant, but it was a celebration of achievement, and I used an elegant design. ;-) Sometimes, a CAS design just speaks for itself. :)
Just in case you can't read the tag, it says "Someone like you should be celebrated every day."
I embossed the bashful blue cardstock with Elegant Lines embossing folder, wrapped the Early Espresso ribbon around & tied, and added the tag. Though the sentiment is from the set "It's Your Birthday," I love that this specific one doesn't have to be for a birthday.
Speaking of birthday sets, I am (not-so-patiently) waiting to get the newest one in the mini catalog - I knew I wanted that as soon as I saw it. Go ahead and take a look-see (RH sidebar mini catalog)...you might want it, too! :)
Well, what do you think?
The Small Print (All Stampin' Up)
Stamps: It's Your Birthday
Cardstock: Bashful Blue, Whisper White
Ink: Early Espresso
Accessories: Elegant Lines EF, Big Shot, Early Espresso satin ribbon, Circle Punch
Technique: Embossing
Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a GREAT day! :)

Nice card! TFS
ReplyDeleteI'm not much into embossing but your card has changed my mind. What is your favorite embossing design?
ReplyDeleteHi Maria - glad I could change your mind, lol! :) I would have to say that the polka dots from yesterday's post is one of, if not my very favorite. It's more multi-purpose than the Elegant Lines I used on today's card (which I love), and ya gotta love supplies that give you more bang for your buck! :)
ReplyDeleteLovely card and I'm big time into embossing and I really like this folder. Thanks for blessing my day. :)
ReplyDeleteSimply elegant! My favorite kind of card!
ReplyDeleteI really like your card! This is also a very stupid question I'm sure, but what is CAS? I'll probably say, "Da" when I get the answer but right now it's just elluding me. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card!! Love the embossing!
ReplyDeleteSo classy and elegant!
